Always Hope by Heidi Renee Mason is a real, emotional and tantalizing story. Hope believed that when she left home at age 18 to marry Jonathan, she would be rid of her estranged relationship with her mother, the broken dreams, pain and promises, and the town of Woodridge, Washington. She also felt that Jonathan was the answer to her problems. He would whisk her away to a new life and a new beginning, never to return to Woodridge, Washington again. But isn’t life interesting in how cyclically it can evolve? In Always Hope by Heidi Renee Mason, the past reared its ugly head when, ten years later, Hope discovered that her marriage was not at all what it seemed to be and her mother was diagnosed with cancer. With secrets, deception and insecurity happening around her, Hope went back to Woodridge, Washington where it all began. Besides, since she was getting a divorce and her mom was dying, where else would she go but back home.

Always Hope by Heidi Renee Mason is the real deal. Unfinished business requires closure in order for healing and happiness to begin and take root. You find that people run away from themselves, but lack the realization that they will always be there. As it shows in reading Always Hope, unless we deal with the man in the mirror and forgive, we will be challenged in moving forward. I enjoyed reading how Heidi Renee Mason was able to take a touchy and tough subject and give it some teeth in Always Hope. Will Hope learn and begin anew or remain in a sea of pain and non-forgiveness?
